Subject:Pitch /tune problem

Howdy, I have been having pitch and or tuning issues for some years now with acid, when using vst instruments and midi. It seems pretty random , certainly freezing or rendering the track does sort out the problem but it gets pretty hard to/ near impossible to compose once the problem takes hold. I might get lucky and the problem stops after half a dozen restarts, sometimes i just abandon the project. Does anyone have any ideas about this? I haven't seen anything like it with other apps. I should clarify that I have a m-audio keyboard plugged in and an old audigy 2zs on a p4 Message last edited on7/19/2009 5:28:49 AM bychucky. |

Update, actually, this is now affecting rendered and frozen tracks now. Can I prevent acid from applying any pitch bend? |

HELLO? Problem still present, today I opened up project and the pitch problem was gone for about 2 mins. Then low and behold , there it is again. Why is this happening???????? I don't know why I keep throwing money at this by software getting updates and buying new hardware when such a blatantly interruptive problem persists. Should I switch to a mac and use logic? The silence on this forum regarding such a serious issue might suggest this. I really want to be able to finish this project, no end of restarts are helping. |

Please fill out your system specs in your user profile. Understand these are not offical support forums. Have you tried contacting our support group directly? I have not been able to reproduce your problems. Could you provide a simple step by step case that reproduces the problem? Thanks Peter |
