Just got our boxed copy of 5.0 today Install seems ok - except one error message about the "confmgr not being able to register" or something to that effect. Sorry didn't write it down. 5.o opens fine and seems to work just fine, except the the DirectX stuff doesn't show on the "DirectX" menu. The missing plugins (all the XFX stuff, Ac. Mirror etc) show fine on the Plugin Chainer, and they seem to work just fine. Is there anything I can do so they also show in the DirectX toolbar? I'm using NT4.0 sp6 - I've heard it's not supported, but the 5.0 Beta worked fine - save a couple of minor details/flakiness. 5.0 boxed version seems more solid, if anything. I did remove 5.0 Beta and everything I coud find in my drive related to that, then Installed the new version. The new plugins do show up fine in the DirectX menu of 4.5, and they work fine, too. any suggestions? |

Our plug-ins no longer show up in the Direct-X menu, they now show up in the process and effects menus. Ted |
