Subject:No mixer console showing in Acid pro7

My new Acid pro7 will not show the mixer console (no Alt3 under view drop down). Have just loaded the new up date (Acid pro7c) but still no mixer console. Running on XP sp2. Any ideas?? My Acid 5 is still running ok (showing mixer). |

If you are looking for the old mixer view - like in ACID 5 - it does not exist any longer. It has been replaced with the Mix Console View. It should display by default. If not it is under the View menu "Mix Console". Peter |

yes I should have the option under the view menu alt3 to show the mixer but it's not there the list goes, alt1, alt2, alt4 etc (no alt3). Is there a reason for this? or should I uninstall the program and start again? if so whats the best way to uninstall acid7 with out damaging my acid5 set up? Thanks. -Andy- |

If no Mixing Console ALT+3 under the view menu , then yes, a reinstall sounds the way to go. Anything you do wrt A7 should not affect A5 at all. I always make a point of deleting the A7 Pro folder from c:\Program Files\Sony Setup to ensure a clean reinstall. geoff Message last edited on7/31/2009 3:47:33 PM byGeoff_Wood. |

Sounds like your install is corrupted somehow. Just repair or reinstall. ACID 7 does not affect your ACID 5 set up. Of course, you do have a back up of your system - or at least your critical data, right? Peter Peter |
