Subject:MP3 Plugin hangs in Sound Fordge XP

I just spent the $20 for the this darn plug-in and it
doesn't work! AHHHHH <- that's frustration talking

Got any advice? This thing shows 0% complete even after an
hour working on a small file. I'm really stuck. Please help!
