Subject:Problem with converting WAVE into MP3 format and looping

Hi,
I have some music in WAVE format and then edited in Sound
Forge 4.5 and saved it as MP3.. . . but when I play it back
it inserts a little silence in the beginning and at the end
and now the loop has a skip in it.
I tried to redo it over and over but it keeps inserting
the silence.
Is there a way to resolve this problem

There is no way to get around this. Saving to mp3 adds a
very short silence to the beginning and end of the file.
