Hi. I'm getting an error message in SF4.5 that tells me "The source sample rate is lower than the destination sample rate" when I cut and paste within a file. The error seems to happen when I work on files that formerly were MPEG files that have been converted to WAV. I know I can change the rate to match the original by using the Resample function in the Process menu. But how do I find out what the original rate was? And how can I avoid this problem in the first place? Many thanks! Eric |

Hi Eric, To find out the sample rate, right-click on the waveform while the file is open in Sound Forge and select properties. Under "Attributes", you will see the bitrate, sample rate, and stereo or mono. Ted |

Ted H are you talking about 4.5? Cause I can see no "Attributes" whatsoever in "Properties", and a search for "attributes" in "Help" yeilded no results. Or am I looking in the wrong place? Thanks, Eric |

After having looked for the third time I've found it. Right where Ted said it was. Thanks. Another mystery solved |
