Maybe this plugin isn't updated for use on 64-bit application. It works fine within the 32 bit version of Vegas Pro 9.

I suspect it's because they are 32 bit plug-ins and will work only with a 32 bit application.

The only 64 bit plug-ins I've seen are from NewBlue.

... and what about the Cinescore Plugin?
I have no luck getting this installed either.
BTW, I am keeping Vegas 8.0 (32-bit) on my system for now.
Whenever I reinstall Magic Bullet and/or Cinescore both show up in Vegas 8.0 only.
I guess this one is also not compatible ?

No Cinescore support for the 64-bit version yet. That's a known issue.

You don't have to stay on 8.0. You can always use Vegas Pro 9.0 32-bit. It works fine with Cinescore and Magic Bullet (at least on my Vista 64 system they do).

From the release notes

The following features are not available in the 64-bit version of Vegas 9.0. If you need to use the following features, you can share projects between 32- and 64-bit versions of Vegas 9.0 installations, performing editing as needed in 32-bit Vegas 9.0 and finishing the project in 64-bit Vegas 9.0:

o Rendering templates created in 32-bit Vegas 9.0 are not available in 64-bit Vegas 9.0.
o Cinescore support is not available.
o Gracenote support is not available.
o AAF import and export are not available.
o Third-party plug-ins will work only if they are 64-bit plug-ins. Please check with the plug-in vendor for available updates.

How exactly do you get the 64 bit version? I've downloaded the V9 161Mb file linked to and installed it and it seems to be just 32 bit.

I don't need the 64bit version yet, but when I upgrade my OS I shall - where is V9/64bit?
Marco. wrote on 5/11/2009, 10:19 PM
Try download again. There was something mixed up at the start V9 yesterday.

I left a message with the tech support number requesting 64 bit, anyone else try to contact them to see what the dealio is? Not like 64 bit is new, wish they would get on it.

I did as you did and just opened a problem ticket with this message:

I just purchased Vegas Pro 9.0 64-bit and Magic Bullet Looks does not show up. I re-installed Magic Bullet Looks 1.2 but it still does not show up. How do I get Magic Bullet Looks 1.2 to work in Vegas Pro 64-bit?

Maybe if more people open tickets they will see the need growing and do something?

If anyone have any news on MBL for 64 bit, please keep us posted.
I think its a great plugin and most of us are moved to 64 bit.

Last time I checked with Red Giant, they don't have 64bit support
for anything yet. Not Vegas, Avid...with no date given when it will happen.

From this thread, it seems that Magic Bullet is supposed to be included with Vegas 9. Where do i find this? I dont recall seeing anything in my software.

Nope. A light version came with Vegas 7 but anything else mentioned in this thread is a purchase.

With the help of RedGiant Tech support I was able to serialize 1.2 but vegas 8c 32 bit does not list MB in a win 7 64bit operating system. What Am I missing here?
Thanks
