If I want to use the Parametric eq in Soundforge 4.5 as a 60 Hz. notch filter to take out 'hum', how do I set it up. What do I set f1,f2,f3and f4 at, etc. Any help on this would be extremely appreciated. Thanks, WJW |

Hi WJW, Set the Filter Style to Band/Notch-Boost. Set the Center Frequency to 60Hz. Set the Band Width to about 1.0 octaves. Then set the Amount to -60dB or however much you want to cut out the 60Hz frequency. Best, Scott -- Scott R.
