Subject:5.0 Preview problem

Using parameter changes, i.e., eq, and choosing preview
returns message: "The 'Microsoft Sournd Mapper' playback
device does not support one or more of the current format
parameters, (sample rate, number of channels, or bits per
sample).

The card in use is an AWE64. Changing the playback device
to AWE 64 and attempting preview as above returns the same
message substituting 'AWE 64 Wave Out' playback device for
the previous.

Using my DV Master NLE Sound output allows preview
functions.

Is this a limitation of the AWE 64 card?

Please advise.
