Hi I have been using Acid Pro for some years and find its simplicity amazing... I had a few issues on v7 so went back to v6 (if it aint broke!)

I am just looking at some overlooked things in acid menu's.... i use Acid 6 along with Soundforge 8 combined...

When i have a new clip in the Acid timeline and i cut it up and reverse some parts whats the best way to highlight this and send the "new clip" directly as one to Soundforge?

I thought i could highlight all the clips that make up say the 2 bar loop, right click and use "join"?
BUT this just turns it back into the original clip again??

Is there a way to highlight all clip bits that make up a new region and send to edit in soundforge as a 2 bar loop as one? or do i have to render that part to make it one then edit in soudforge?

Im just wanting the quickest way of the new chopped/cuts that i do on the timeline getting into soundforge as ONE loop or track so i can edit and resave in SF to bring back in Acid

Thanks!

So render is still the quickest and easiest??

is there not a glue or consolidate to make your edits as one to send to soundforge?

No. Join would need to be a "rendering" opertation to do what you want it to. Something that has been requested before and we will consider for a future version.

Also, Render to New Track is pretty fast and easy.
