Subject:Mouse zoom problems?

Hi... I've come across the issue in some projects that I'm unable to zoom in & out via using my mouse wheel! Very annoying. I was provided the following fix via Tech Support which does not help the issue: "Thank you for contacting Sony Creative Software. If your mouse wheel is not allowing you to zoom into the project correctly, first try to use the up and down arrows (when the timeline has the focus) to readjust the zoom. After this attempt to use the mouse wheel to zoom in or out again (the timeline will need the focus to perform this action). If this does not work, navigate to the scroll bar on the bottom of the timeline and adjust the far right edge of the scroll bar. This should allow for the functionality of the mouse to return." Anyone have any experience with this issue? or know a fix? The last time I had to fix the problem by copy & pasting my whole project into a new project file... this is lots of work & one has to setup all the synths, buss & bla bla all over again. Starting to lose patience with the inconsistency of Acid and it's varying bugs. |

Are you sure the timeline has focus? The mouse wheel will only zoom when that's the case. If you've clicked anywhere else in the screen then the mouse wheel will have whatever function is appropriate there (if any) instead of zooming. Click back on the timeline itself and then see if you can zoom again. |
