v9 - pops on audio track

i've written about this before, but since i can't create a repeatable error, i'm not sure what to do.

v9 / xp pro 32bit - tl with raw m2t straight from camera, no fx.

occasionally, when opening an existing veg, or importing m2t's, i'll get the odd 'pop' on the sound track.

a. there are NO visual 'pops' on the wave form.

b. the pops remains in place as long as vegas is open

c. they DO NOT appear in renders

d. upon closing and reopening vegas they disappear entirely, or reappear in different places.

e. they aren't in the least bit regular (might be every two minutes or so), or repeatable

anyone else have this happening, or can suggest as to what might be causing it?

files coming from dedicated internal segate hd, gigabyte mb using on board audio.

Do they go away if you mute the video track?

I seem to have this occur as well. In my case, they seem to start appearing after having Vegas open for some time editing the same .veg. Haven't 100% confirmed, but they seem to go away if I exit out of the .veg in question and reopen it.

Same for you?
