Keeping DVD from auto playing

I have searched for the way to prevent a menu based DVD from starting to play when inserted into the DVD player.

I have a menu based single movie that has 16 chapters that are shown as scenes on pages two and three of my menu. I don't want the movie to start playing automatically when it is inserted into the player. I want the main menu to appear and let the user make a choice. I can not find the "switch" to turn on or off the make that happen. Your help is appreciated.

You need to set the FIRST PLAY to the MENU that you want. Apparently it is defaulting to the movie.

I have always made single movies before and this is my first menu based movie and I can not find where to change FIRST PLAY to MENU is located. Please direct me how to do that.

In the PROJECT OVERVIEW window (normally in the upper left) you will see a little ICON that has a star. This is indicating what is FIRST PLAY. (SET DVD START). Right click on your MENU and you have the option to SET DVD START on any of your assets.
