Help. I just loaded Soundforge 8 and it refuses to see my realtec soundcard. None of my other Sony PPro software has trouble. Im trying to access it thru vegas to boost audio on a stereo track I converted to mono in vegas thru the right click.

Problem Solved. Vegas saved it as a 32 bit file and I converted it to 16 bit and it oped fine

SF should have opened the file no problem. I don't use Vegas but Sonar 8 for my daw work and I have Sonar set to render as 32 bit .wav files which SF opens no problem.
