Hey guys, another erros, this is getting annoying. This is a strange one ive been getting the past week and cant solve.

When I open a project, 9 out of ten times when I press play to play back the project the screen jumps to the end of the track, the playback 'line' does not move, but the timer in the top left corner reacts as though the project is playing. There is no audio and no meters moving.
Half of the time it then crashes after a few seconds.
Half of the time it lets me do what I want but still will not play audio or midi, eventually it crashes.

Its doing this most of the time, whetehr im opening ACID fresh, or loading another project.

EDIT - Just noticed; Also when this happens, there is no audio files. The 'white blocks' are there but the waveform inside does not show.

Any ideas?

Please my post in this thread.

The behavior you describe can be attributed to the same problem I describe and the workaround I suggest might allow you to continue working on your projects.

Thanks,

I should add that I cannot be certain from the information you have provided that the problem you are experiencing is the same. It is an educated guess and I find it important to note the uncertainty explicitly.

We would like to know if this solves your problem or if we need to further investigate your issue.

Thanks,

Hey man thanks, it seems to be only crashing when there ARE time sig changes present (which is most of the time) Ill try adding tmepo markers to each and report back if there are any more problems, thankyou.
