Copy regions or markers

I have two instances of V9 64 open and am able to copy the audio and video tracks from one to another, but neither the markers nor the regions paste in the other Vegas timeline. I looked through the manual and tried a forum search but didn't find an answer

Can this be accomplished and, if so, please tell me how.

On both instances of Vegas, select View | Edit Details (Alt+6) and select Markers from the Show drop down list. Highlight the upper left corner of one and press Ctrl+C then do the same on the other and press Ctrl+V. That could copy and paste the markers from one instance to the other.
