Subject:little lock icon in plugin manager

Silly little thing...what does the little lock icon mean next to the name of a VST soft synth in the plug-in manager list of soft synths?
I have one synth that has this little lock icon over the small keyboard icon next to te name.

It means that you have used that VSTi at least once during your session and it cannot be removed because it is loaded into memory. When you close ACID all of the locks are removed and you start over again.

thx JR! I know you're a whiz...have you had the problem where you record MIDI and when you play it back nothing happens unless you close the program and reopen? It/s in my other thread about rendering VST audio
