Subject:MIDI interface to a Yamaha PSR e313?

This is probably a generic MIDI question rather than specific to ACID - I'm trying to use my Yamaha keyboard via a USB MIDI interface in ACID Pro, however I don't think it is installing into XP properly - it never appears as a MIDI input in ACID. Any tips on where I can look to see where the problem lies, or which driver I can reinstall, or software I can use to fix it, or anything?!
