Subject:SF5 - issues with Time Ruler marks and peak file rebuilding

I'm having a couple minor problems with SF5. I've checked through the documentation but can't seem to find the answers I need: 1) The ruler marks and times on the Time Ruler are at odd, seemingly arbitrary division points...they don't fall on the second, or tenth of a second or anything useful like that. I thought it might be something to do with how beats per minute/measure are set, but messing with them didn't seem to help. For a 15K screenshot of what I'm talking about, see http://theacf.com/misc/sf5timeruler.gif 2) When editing in Direct mode, and switching between SF4.5XP and SF5.0, certain files are rebuilding the peak file everytime they load. This is a real pain because the some of the files in question are 70+ minutes. Are the peak files that these two versions use 100% compatible? The reason I am using both is that I have CD Architect installed. Any assistence or pointers appreciated. Thanks! Regards, Brent |
