I've been using Sound Forge 5.0 Beta to mark and extract several hundred regions from some very large wav. files. Afterwards, when I checked the extracted files, I found that they were all shortened by varying amounts - in some cases over half the file had been left out. All the extracted regions started correctly - it was only the ends that were missing. When I tried re-extracting the regions, the results were the same, and the files were cut in exactly the same places. I converted the wav. files to mp3 and tried extracting again but achieved exactly the same results. Computer: Pentium lll 450Mhz with 128Mb RAM Windows 98 SE Aztech Audio sound card Sound Forge 5.0 Beta Build 102 Any ideas? Gerry |

Hello Gerry, Since the program is still a beta, all issues are being supported by the Sound Forge 5.0 team. Please report all issues to betasf@sonicfoundry.com. Thanks! Ted |
