Hey guys on the ACID team. Im beocming frustrated with the lack of one very basic thing. The inabillity to have effects on MIDI tracks. I know I can apply effects to the MIDI instrument but this is not the same thing. Why does ACID not have something similair to all the other DAWS (Cubase, Sonar, Nuendo, Pro Tools, Digital Performer) that I know of. This is called an 'Instrument' Track, and acts like an audio track butfor midi instruments. The lack of this means I cannot use Symphonic Choirs and Wordbuilder with ACID. Any plans for this? Or a workaround? |

Simply exposing an "instrument track' model does not make Wordbuilder work. An Instrument Track is no different than a MIDI Tack and the Softs-synth bus being treated as a single UI element. As I understand it, WordBuilder is a MFX plug-in - or a MIDI processing plugin. ACID does not support such plugins. Explain to me how you need to set things up in detail in order to use Wordbuilder. How do these other DAWs "instrument tracks" make this work? Peter |

Thanks for the response, it is probably the problem regarding the WordBuilder being an MFX file, i didnt realise this, ive re-looked and this is the file type. Ill let you knw if I come up with a workaround |
