Subject:Instruments Question (VSTi)

I'm sorry if this is the wrong place to post this, but I do have a question on how to use a particular plugin instrument, and nothing I do allows me to use it.

I'm trying to assign the Klanglabs R2 instrument (and effect) (Klanglabs under Freebies). There are no instructions. I assigned the R2 instrument to a midi track, but there's no sound, and nothing on the meters.

I've tried changing inputs, outputs, etc.

I'm using the inline midi editing, not a keyboard in real time.

If anyone has been able to figure this one out, or is willing to troubleshoot it, I'd really really appreciate it.

Oh, yeah...I'm using ACID Pro 7 on an XP PC.
