Hidden Project Media?

I am authoring a disk with DVD Architect 3. (Yes, I know there are more current versions, but 3 suits my needs for the time being. Maybe the answer to my question will change my mind.)

What I need is a project media tab a la Vegas, but version 3 doesn't have this. In fact, I don't know of any version that has it! Am I wrong, or is there another way to find all the media being used in a DVD project?

Here's my situation: I have rendered several different versions of the files I included in my DVD, and have prepared and burned DVD's to test different versions of my rendered files. After I pick the best renders, I deleted the files I was not using in the final version of the DVD. Now, when I open the project in DVD Architect, it complains that it cannot find some of the deleted files.

I've seen cases where thumbnails point to a file that was deleted, but this is different - the only reference to the file is in one button, which is pointing to the correct version of the file. So where else could I look?

It would be handy to have a Project Media tab in DVD Architect. Maybe we'll see it in a future version, if it is not available yet. (Postings I've read indicate this feature is not in the more recent versions than 3)

You can see all of the media on your DVD by opening Optimize DVD, under the File menu -- but that's not going to help you remove dead links to media.

Have you ensured that all references to that media are removed from the structure displayed in the Project Overview window?

It could also be that Smart Prepare is getting confused, because of the various iterations you've burned. Go to Make DVD, select Prepare and direct your DVD files to a new location on your computer.
