You have to load the Shuttle Pro settings from Program Files/Sony/Vegas pro 9.0/Sony - Vegas Pro 9 - Shuttle Pro V2.pref.

Usually I can download a driver from Contour website, but the Shuttle Pro driver is no longer there.

I just tried to download it also, and it appears the website system has changed; you now have to register at http://www.contourcase.com/shuttle/shuttleprov2/Contour Site[/link].

Got the driver.
Thanks CClub.
But Contour Shuttle Pro is not functioning.
Anybody?

Don't want to insult your computer sensibilities, but I'd start at square 1:
- Do you have the small Shuttlepro icon in your system tray in the lower right of monitor?
- If so, can you Right-click > Open Control Panel?
- If so, can you choose Application Setting > Sony, Vegas Pro 9?
- That's what I did after installing V9. I'm finding I need to adjust some settings, but the ShuttlePro is definitely responding inside Vegas.

Go ahead insult me.
I'm an editor not a computer guy.
I did all those things and no Shuttle Pro.
Just want it restored so I can get back to work.

Think i found the problem.
The options window only has Vegas 8, and not Vegas 9.
Could that be the issue here?

As ECB said you just need to load the preference file that Sony already supplies:

(1) Right-click the shuttle tray icon and select Open Control Panel.
(2) Then in the control panel press the Options button and select Import Settings.
(3) Navigate to the folder you installed Vegas Pro 9 and select the Sony - Vegas Pro 9 - ShuttlePRO v2.pref template file.

That's it.

Your generosity in sharing knowledge is much appreciated.
Many thanks.

Is the Shuttle Pro 2 the latest version? I looked at the Contour site and all I see is the Shuttle Pro EMS for $150. Is Contour getting out of the editing accessories business??

It looks like the exact same product as the video editing version.

That certainly comes off as unusual. I would guess the same thing as you.
