Using 7c. I just updated Tone 2's Wamverb to v1.1 from 1.0. According to Tone2 my installation procedure is fine/correct. Its in the correct VST directory and all that. (I"'e already communicated with Tone 2 about this) Problem: Now when I go open an existing project in Acid where I used Warmverb 1.0 I get an error saying "an error occurred when loading a plug-in or plugins." I click on the details and it says "Warmverb could not be loaded. The default settings have been restored" I click OK to get into the project and Warmverb 1.1 IS now there where the original 1.0 version was, but any settings I had set up are gone. (I did not save custom project presets in Warmverb as all those settings I programmed are usually saved in the Acid Project settings). But now they are all gone. Everything Warmverb is now at default. I've had AP7 rescan the plugins via the plugin manager and in the manager interface itself Warmverb 1.0 is still listed even though 1.1 shows up in the project itself. I've restarted the programs and computer multiple times... In Sound Forge 8 it appears after rescanning Warmverb 1.1 is recognized correctly. Tone 2 is saying this is a Sony Acid problem. Tone 2 tech support, "in this case you must refer to the Acid support. It is a host related bug: The number of parameters has increased and they are not set to 0 correctly" ?? Thanks. :) Message last edited on5/12/2009 8:24:08 AM bylofreequency. |

Guess Markus at Tone 2 says I'm the only one experiencing this problem. Bummer in that I'm in the final editing stages on tracks for a CD. Guess I'm gonna revert back to Warmver1.0 and see if what gets recalled by AP7. Lesson learned about not saving the custom presets in Warmverb itself. :( |
