Hi There, 1. When playing a 24 Bits sound wav file everything works great but when I minimize Sound Forge or another program, the sound changes in a lot of carbage noise. When a window minimizes or maximizes, there is a sound attached to that event in Windows, but this sound goes throug the Sound Blaster. The 24 Bits sound in Sound Forge goes through bus 1 in the Layla24. When I stop the sound in Sound Forge and then play it again, the sound is ok. When using a 16 bits file everything works ok. This problem never existed in version 4.x. 2. I have a big sound file which is about 50 minutes long, but the size doesn't matter here, and start playing that sound. Great, but when I minimize it or switch to another program I only hear a few seconds ( about 4 seconds) and those seconds, I hear over and over again like a loop. Then I go back to Sound Forge, the sound is still playing but I still hear the few seconds. Then after those seconds, the file continues where the current position is and everything works fine, when I switch again, the same problem. This problem never happend in version Sound Forge version 4.x. This is with a 16 or 24 bits sound file. I hope you understand all of this because english is not my first langague. I'm dutch guy you know. My System: Sound Forge 5.0 Beta version 5.0.102 (PRE-RELEASE) Windows 2000 US SP1 256 RAM Pentium III 1Ghz Sound Blaster Live (For the bleeps etc. in windows :) ). Echo Layla24 (For the real music) Regards, Diederick. |
