yes as long as you saw the confirmation of the completed order on the web page. No emails are being sent out for the pre-orders.

You will not receive an email (or the credit card debited) until the order ACTUALLY goes through which won't be until May 11 (or when they start shipping)

That isn't proof that you ordered. Anyone who owns Vegas Pro 8 legally should see this in their software list regardless if they pre-ordered or not. Upgrades lists any software you have that is eligible for upgrade.

Yep, other than printing out your order page from the browser there is no other proof (hopefully until tomorrow)!

I'm not sure if my order went thru or not. No indication showing us that we can wait by the mailbox.

Others are downloading like crazy and I feel like the guy at the back of the Q standing on tippy toes looking at the bargain bin not sure if there's going to be enough to go around :)

If I download can I install if I don't have a serial number of SV9?

I have pre-ordered immediately I received the annoucenemt email, and then after about 4 days later I received an email stating that the discount for my order was calculated wrongly and that they have corrected it (the new price was lower).
