Ok everyone I have a question and I am at a loss. Just put all my V8, sound Forge etc on a new computer. downloaded some video of a wedding I did and strted working on the audio. I was in Vegas and added the the noise reduction fx to a clip set everything up the way I wanted it and clicked ok and I get this message

An erroe occurred during the current operation
a necessary function has not been implemented.

I have searched looked around and do not have the slightest idea what this could be. everything was working before but now I am lost. I was on an XP OS and now I am on Vista is there something there that i have missed.
I will appreciate any and all help thanks a million
Daryl

I'm not completely sure why it would do this. Vista shouldn't be missing a necessary function that XP had. At least not one that's vital to noise reduction.

Have you made sure that Vista, The Sony Software, and all of your drivers are up to date?

What versions of the Sony software are you using?
