Subject:6.0d: Is this normal? Mute envelopes don't save

ACID Pro 6.0d, fully registered version: On any given MIDI track (VSTi), I can Insert a Mute Envelope and make it work.

Problem: When I save and then open the .ACD file, though, every single Mute envelope is MISSING. Disappeared. Gone. On certain Soft Synth tracks, the Mute Envelope magically converts itself to a General MIDI Voices envelope. . . . Yet valid VSTi Volume Envelopes DO save and recall, as normal.

I've lost hours of work and nothing I've read in the manual covers this. Note, I'm using Mute Envelope since it's a known flaw in certain VST instruments (like NI Kore Player) that the Volume and Pan envelopes will not reset to standard CC #7/10. Thanks in advance for any consolation.

This looks to be a bug in ACID 6. ACID 7 appears to have the same bug.

There is no work around that I can find.

It will be looked at for an update for ACID Pro 7.

Dear Peter,

Obviously this is not the news I wanted to hear. I'll take your word for it though. Thank you.

If I were marketing a package with "Pro" in its title, I would do everything possible to send out a patch to registered users. I seriously lost over a day finalizing my mix before I realized that my changes were not saving . . . I'm beginning to regret not going with a competitor's product, something I may have to do from here on out. Sorry.
