What are you using to play the CD?
Many CD players do not support CD Text.

I'm burning the CDs with my DAWs burner - it's custom built for music production so I would say it should support CD text (I guess).

But, I'm testing the CDs in Media Player and Winamp - that's the problem, right? Is there a software player that support CD text I can try?

This player is freeware. It doesn't display the artist/title in a cute way while the song is playing, but it gives you a list. So you can be confident that your CD Text stuck.

CD text is a Sony invention and even most hardware cd players don't support it.
Just because a daw computer is built for audio doesn't mean it will support cd text. It's a 'nice-to-have' feature but not necessary for music production.

5 out of my 7 hardware CD players support it.

But true, it's just a bonus feature, though often on expected by my clients.

How Can we tell if it's the CD writer that doesn't support the Text Writing?
What CD Recorder does support it?
I have the same problem, I can't get the text to show up,
Just the track numbers show and no titles.

Guy:
All cd burners support text writing because that's a function of the program driving the burner (CDA). What isn't supported is reading and displaying cd text. Most software cd players (Real Player, Windows Media PLayer, etc.) don't support reading cd text. iTunes, for example, gets it's cd text from the Grace Notes online database. It won't read text from a cd. Most hardware standalone players won't support reading text; the only ones that reliably do are Sony's because it's a Sony invention.

When I put a CD in made with Peak Pro on my mac, my PC shows the title text but when I make the CD in CD Architect it doesn't show the titles just numbers.
I've checked the box for text write in CD Architect.

Any help is apreciated

What program are you using to play the cd on your pc? Like I said above, not every software player will display cd text (and not every hardware will display cd text). Whether it does or doesn't isn't a fault of CDA. If you have available to you a SONY standalone cd player, try the disk you make in CDA in that. Remember, for commercial cd's some software cd players use an online database.
Have you tried playing the cd you make on your pc on your Mac?
What if anything does it show (on the Mac) ?
Have you actually entered text into the appropriate places in CDA?
On the off chance, I have to ask: are you actually burning 16 bit 44.1 KHz pcm audio and not mp3 files to your cd's?
