Maybe missing something, but please when grouping or selecting multiple events, Fade Ins-Outs should also be grouped, in a scene change is a pain to do manually all fades one by one, or when editing multiple recorded audio tracks. Also a keyboard shortcut to do fadeouts-ins from cursor position to the end of the audio event. Automation for reading Presets on effects. amtg8 |

Automation for reading Presets on effects. Not sure I understand what you mean by this. Could you explain or provide an example workflow? Thanks Peter |

For example you are on a scene change and you can have one preset of the EQ before the cut and after the cut you need to change quickly the presets of the EQ if you can call on the automatation the preset saved on the EQ will be great, or at least make a Reset to default paramaters flat, so you dont have to move all the envelopes click by click with the mouse on the escene change Sorry for my English. Im a lover, entusiasthic of Vegas and I think audio users guys also need some updates on the audio part, its really sad to stop using Vegas, At work they have Bought a YAMAHA 02vr and will love to control Vegas with these nice mixer. Thanks Peter, and please push the audio part, we need to take more clicks of the mouse from the interface (group envelopes, shortcut fade, automatation presets) amtg8 |

Things missing: HUI support (that's for the yamaha o2r) something that renders track fx as a new take... automation reset! AGTM8 has a fantastic idea. I've wanted that for a long time! Automation is a bit sloppy Perhaps a way to save an automation "state". A hard FX bypass automation so that you can bypass even if that isn't a parameter in the FX itself... |

I´m with cchoy yes HARD BYPASS EFECTS with waves plugins you can´t bypass them, at least these way you don't have to reset by cliking each envelope. its to find a way to automate the tick box over the plugin chain or maybe I'm missing something. amtg8 |

Yes Peter like the surround keypoints, but instead you load presets from the plugin chain in that point. Thanks for Listening ! amtg8 |

I'll just toss these in here: Features: Folder tracks OR a "Create / Expand sub-project" feature. We use subprojects a lot, but they're a one-way street. I would script this, but it requres scripting access to track FX which apparently is a no-no. Event FX, just like with video events. We're wasting insane amounts of tracks for doing per-event effects. Bugs (may be fixed in V9, please disregard in that case) * Bus-to-bus routing (usually with Waves plugins) provokes crashes * Waves plugins may take up to 30 seconds to initialize * Adding latency-inducing plugins to the master bus corrupts renders * Changing loop region on-the-fly causes corrupt playback |

If Vegas would support ReWire, which some of the Waves plugins rely on, that would also be great! |

The bus-to-bus crash and the latency issue seems ancient history (like, Vegas 6 ancient) from what I can recall, but I may be mistaken. I did get a "will not fix" on the loop region corruption issue, and there's been some back-and-forth on the subject of Waves plugins. If you feel it will be fruitful, I'll happily (re-)submit these bug reports. Message last edited on4/29/2009 2:06:18 AM byTeetow. |

What's missing? A willingness on Sony's part to seriously and fully develop further the audio side of Vegas. For years now. Come on guys, I'd love to say it wasn't so, but surely you realise you're wasting your breathe here? Ben |

A depository for SCS's junk mail??? No a placebo... makes you feel like you've been listened to because they certainly don't listen to the forum... still I swallowed the sugar coated pill... though I doubt it will make me feel better as placebos work on the premise that you don't know that it isn't the real thing!!! |

Another good feature requests FX Chain one click implementation: select audio, click, and have it apply all the FX without having to go through millions of menus -C |

can't we have the video "copy attributes" apply to audio tracks? i too find the storing a chain as a preset etc a tedious way of copying.. as long as this would work across open projects like copy and paste events does now. at least within a project you can duplicate a track and move other tracks audio into it. but this doesn't work once you got a lot of automation going in the target, cos then you have to copy them over one by one, just as bad |

"I´m with cchoy yes HARD BYPASS EFECTS with waves plugins you can´t bypass them, at least these way you don't have to reset by cliking each envelope. its to find a way to automate the tick box over the plugin chain or maybe I'm missing something." this full bypass of fx in automation is a constant issue. like if using autotune in real time, if i want to turn it off for a word i can't. the best i can do is turn retune speed to minimum which is still fast enough to have effect |
