I am trying to use acoustic Mirror plug-in to build an "inverse" impulse for "room acoustic correction". But I can't do it.

My objetive is to cancel (or minimize) the acoustic environment of my mixing room and perform the cleanest mixing on my final tracks:
1. Adding the "canceling" plugin at the end of the master tracks.
2. bypassing it when I will be ready to render the final mixing.

As an alternative, I think that I can use the 48 seconds test tone and then draw an "inverse" envelope using the Sony Graphic EQ. But with this approach, I can not cancel the room reverb and frequency reflections.

¿Some body has do it before?

I appretiate your help.

Well...!

No body has idea about this topic?

Only the plug-in and mic bundle made by ARC can meet my expectations (I think):

But I want to know if I can do this building an acoustic impulse with the "Acoustic Mirror" plugin, using the Graphic EQ or another plug-in or method.

I appretiate your help

Can't be done.
The best you can do even with the IK ARC system is to even-out the room eq response. The room reverb you're stuck with (unless you have software only possibly available to the CIA, MI6, or the Starship Enterprise). And you can forget about it with the Acoustic Mirror plugin.

To do it right you need to install the appropriate acoustic treatment in your room so that the room is responding correctly. You can't achieve this with software - although software is a necessary component for measuring and analyzing your room's problems. If room treatment isn't an option then you need to use a good set of headphones.

As drbam said - try headphones if you can't or won't acoustically treat the room. But if you do use phones, you'll still need to check your mixes on real speakers to get a true idea of stereo spread and frequency balance. I'm currently in the process of going through and re-doing around 30 tunes I've done because I relied on cans instead of monitor speakers and the mixes are HORRIBLE when listened to a a variety of speakers. I have always had decent monitor speakers, it was just that I thought I'd try something different and now I'm paying for it.
