That can reverse audio in an instant?? I am using Ableton live, and Reaper and only Acid seems to reverse audio instantly without "thinking" about it when i press the U shortcut.. (this is one-shots by the way) I do fx etc with reverse audio and Acid is instant - is this because all audio is loaded into RAM in acid?? All my other DAW's have a progress meter which slows down the process... The only reason i ask is because I need to use an Acid equivalent on the Mac, and still finiding it difficult to switch Message last edited on4/17/2009 8:23:25 AM bybuckaroo. |

This feature first appeared in Vegas quite a while before it was in ACID. That still doesn't help you on a Mac though. ACID and Vegas accomplish this by leaving the original audio intact, and then reading it from the file backwards. All other programs physically reverse the data either making a new copy or replacing the original. |

So no other daw reads the file backwards the same as acid? And can reverse the original file without creating a new file? |
