Can't Get External Sound Card to Showup as Option -Sound Forge - PC

Subject:Can't Get External Sound Card to Showup as Option Posted by: JimG Date:4/15/2009 12:20:48 PM Hi: I use an Edirol UA 700 external USB sound card to record with through SoundForge, but I can't get it to showup as an option to record with under Options>Preferences>Audio in Sony Audio Studio 9.0c. I can still record with it as an option in my full version of SoundForge 6.0e, but I can't with with Sony Audio Studio. The Edirol sound card is set as the default recording sound device in my Windows sound settings, so I'm trying to figure out why it's not showing up as a recording option in Sony Audio Studio. I experience the same problem on both XP and VIsta operating systems. Do you have any ideas for me? Thanks. Jim

Make sure you install straight Windows driver as well as the ASIO driver.
