Subject:Acid 7 files per project folder

I recently got up to Acid 7. Looked I would be able to get all the recorded wav files for the current recording to stay in the same folder per the settings but now I am realizing that Acid 7 is sticking them all in a common folder. Can this be made based on song basis by a default configuration? It is really a mess trying to find a file with a common dump folder where I saved say 10 different songs. |

When you go to the folder preferences tab, specify "< Project >" for any media you want to save with your project. Then save your project into a project-specific folder (usually the same title as the actual ACID project). From there on, any recordings should be saved in that folder. (If you want to also include your previous recordings, do the above with saving the project in the folder but also check the "copy all media with project" option at the bottom.) HTH, Iacobus |
