Subject:Amplitube 2 real time plugin in Acid 7?

I haven't been able to use this as I do in the other DAWs - insert on the recording channel and to hear my guitar going through it before it gets recorded.
Has anyone been successful in getting this to work?
I got it running in Cubase LE4 and Sonoma Wireworks just fine, so either Acid is the problem or I am doing something wrong in it.
Thanks for your help in advance.

Please fill out your system specs in your user profile and mark them to be seen.

Input monitoring requires the use of ASIO drivers.

What audio hardware are you using?

Presonus Firepod (FP10) interface.
I believe I am running the ASIO drivers as I am able to record all 8 channels at once but I'll take another look. Thanks!

AMD 4200+
4gig RAM

If you are running ASIO drivers in ACID, then the procedure is as follows:

- Add and Audio track
- Add the plug-in you want to the track
- From the Track header or the Mix Console Track Channel strip, enable input monitoring. You can select On or Auto.
- Arm the audio track

You will now hear the input processed through the FX chain on the track. Note you will not record the FX.

If you want to record the FX, then you need to set up an Input bus and place the FX on the bus. Be sure not to have the same FX on the track fx insert chain as this will result in applying the FX twice.
