Soft encode gives me garbled digital noise -AC-3 Encoder

Subject:Soft encode gives me garbled digital noise Posted by: Nemesis Date:4/18/2000 11:09:00 AM I'm using a turtle beach fiji and soft encode 5:1 - when i preview it sounds like digital noise - I checked the manual and it mentions the card having to turn off a certain audio bit during playback - anyone else have this prob?

Unfortunately there's no way to fix this, either something in the hardware of the soundcard needs to be changed, or the soundcard drivers themselves do. Thanks.
