Subject:Media Manager Fails to Install

I upgraded to Acid Pro 7 recently and downloaded it and the current Media Manager. Media Manager fails to install due to a dependency on MS SQL, which doesn't complete its install.

I have copious SQL install logs, and errors detailed. Can Sony support help with this or do I have to work with MS support? No point in spending time here if I really have to go "there."

[Note that after the last major Vegas Pro upgrade, I did the same steps and Media Manager failed to install for the same reason.]

Have you tried what's suggested in the Knowledge Base?

I think the failure of the MS SQL install routine requires troubleshooting of the runtime SQL that Sony Media Manager depends on. My question is whether Sony gets involved in troubleshooting MS SQL. As far as I know, an uninstall/reinstall of Acid or Vegas would have no impact on SQL and I have tried to completely uninstall Media Manager/MS SQL and reinstall.
