Subject:Acid Pro 7 track synchronization problem

Hi, Sometimes I can record three or four tracks before this problem starts happening. So lets say, I have recorded three tracks: guitar, voice, and drums all using head phones to play along with the other tracks and all using the metronome. I record the fourth track, the same way I recorded all the others and when I play back the newly recorded track it starts approx. 2 seconds early.....I am kind of new this software but I am very familier with Acid pro 6 and never had this problem before... please help !! |

Not sure what's going on there. When I (typically) record more than the three tracks for a project I don't have this problem. What's your hardware? And what track type are you recording your tracks as? (Beatmapped? One shot?) Iacobus |

Please fill out your system specs in your user profile. What audio hardware are you using? Are you using Mapper, Wave Classic, or ASIO drivers in ACID? Peter |

Hi lacobus, Thanks for the quick reply....I have filled out my specs and updated my profile. As far type of tracks, they are beatmapped, but that gave me an idea, I`m going to try them as oneshot and see if that does anything. I will let you know if it worked. Hi Peter, Thank you for the quick reply. I have filled out the specs on my profile. In Acid I have been using Mapper I`m gonna try ASIO or Wave Classic see if that makes a differance. You definitely can't rely on the MS Sound Mapper to get your tracks in sync. That's the first place. But I have also had some issues with strange timings when recording beatmapped and switched to one-shot. I'm not sure, but I don't recall having this beatmapped issue in 6. |
