Subject:Help Setting up Generic Host Controller (bcd2000)

Hi there,
I have acid pro 7 and a behringer bcd2000.

I'm trying to setup the little mixer to control knobs and faders in ACID.
I can't find a few in the 'configure generic control'
*tempo slider
*edit-undo
*set loop point start and end (found it :)

I've managed to setup my bus tracks and their faders - but if I add another audio track everything shifts across one (channel 24 fader becomes 23 etc) using the channel drop down box

Everything is going sweet except a few controls that I can't do.

Also how would I make a mute send for the guitarists to stop going through guitar rig or turn the amp off on guitar rig?

The tempo cannot be controlled externally.

redo is under the function group "Project".

You need to set up a button on the BCD to control bank and/or channel select.

Set a button to Channel Down and Channel Up to move one channel at a time.

Set a button to Channel Bank Down and Channel Bank Up to move by the number of channels you set up the Generic Control to manage at one time.

You cannot control this type of functionality with the Generic Control Driver.

Thanks - Why would I need to channel down and up? is that to select a channel in the mixer?

Is there any way in acid to control the guitar rig sounds? I was thinking maybe a midi keyboard?

I understand that you can't control plugins with a generic host controller but with a midi keyboard you can.

How about just bypass FX for a group or single channel? ..using the bcd2000

To control which channels appear on your device. If your project has 20 tracks and/or busses, but your device only can control 8, then you need a mechanism to change which channels are under control.

ACID does not feed MIDI data to FX plug-ins, so there is no way to routed incomming MIDI from your external keyboard to an FX plug-in.

No, there is no way to do this.
