I am using Cubase with two Fire Studio. Is there a easier recording software. We are using it to record church service and it takes to long to edit it.

You need to tell us a bit more!

Are you recording every mic to a separate track and then editing into a single stereo mix down?

Why not just record a stereo mix from two mics placed above the choir (or some similar spot)?

What is the purpose of the recording? What kind of quality do you need?

Why does it take long to edit? What kind of edits are you doing?

Sound Frorge is a multi-CHANNEL editor, not a multi-TRACK recorder.

Sure, you can record all those tracks at once with SF, but tweaking and mixing them would be a dreadfully fraught excercise.

You would be better using Vegas or Acid, which are multi-track recorder DAWs.
