Subject:grouping events / clips in Acid 7?

Hi all -

I've recently moved from Vegas to Acid Pro 7 for audio editing. One of the features I really dug in Vegas was the ability to create groups of clips / events and then move / manipulate these as a group. I can't see a way to do this in Acid except for dumping some tracks in a folder, which is far more limiting than the Vegas version. Does anyone have any insight?

Thanks,

Justin

Unfortunately grouping is not included in AP7. This has been one of the strongest features in Vegas for years and has also been a primary feature request for Vegas/Acid users for years. Oh well maybe in AP 8 or 9 they might get around to it. FWIW, the absence of grouping combined with continuing bugs and stability issues that are reported here, are the primary reasons I haven't upgraded from AP6 to 7.

Not to mention the clip alignment 'highlighting' aids.

Yes, Geoff, I totally agree ... PLUS my ancient request which has been submitted way back and not yet taken up - namely, making significant Grid Lines, such as 9.1 000 appear Bold, and/or a different colour to surrounding "non significant" grid lines, such as 9.1.384

When drawing notes (in-line midi editing) on, say track 10 at medium zoom, I should be able to easily see the difference between 9.1.000 and 9.1.384 without zooming in, drawing a note, then zooming out each time.
