This behavior only happens in Acid Pro 7. I've tried this on 3 machines and the same thing happens. Instead of going into the download queue, my download manager GetRIght takes over which means they don't automatically open up in Acid. When I disable Getright , the Windows downloader catches it instead. This behavior did and still doesn't exist in Acid 6. Too bad I can't post screen shots in this forum. I don't get that behaviour on my machines (WinXP all). I have a download manager, but the downloads for getmedia happen inside Acid, so it bypasses windows. I am using AP7. Not sure what is going on with yr machine. PS Have you checked to see if there is a Preferences setting for this? Message last edited on3/4/2009 9:21:07 PM byjumbuk. |

Strange, but this behavior has started happening for me now also. Is there some difference on the Sony server? Last month (and every month before that), the Get Media From Web always downloaded through Acid. But just this month, now the Windows downloader pops up and downloads it. I'm using AP7a in Windows XP, and haven't changed any settings. The content still downloads, so no big deal. It's just odd that it changed all of a sudden. |

There's nothing in the preferences about it. I like when it downloads into Acid so I can audition them. This is the only reason I still keep Acid 6. |
