Subject:Surround panning in MIDI track (resolved)

Hi!

I purchased ACID Pro yesterday, and I am a total newbie in general when it comes to music production. As my topic states, I don't get how to enable surround panning for my MIDI tracks. Adding audio tracks will add the panning tool on the right hand side, MIDI track will not.

My MIDI track will use the Independence Basic VSTi.

Any help or clarification will be much appriciated.

You use the Soft-synth bus in the mixer to surround pan the output of the soft-synth.

Why: You cannot surround pan MIDI data. MIDI only defines stereo panning. A MIDI track is not audio, but information to tell the soft-synth what notes to play.
