I've been meaning to pick up some more Cinescore themepacks... this gives me the excuse to get them.

Glad to see Sony giving out an offer like that via email.

I believe you mean Sound Forge works out to $194, not $104.

if you can figure it out for 104, I'd buy that asap.

104 is the total savings, not the total price.

i'm looking @ cinescore. downloading trial now to see if it will fit what I need.

I was just looking at Sound Forge 9 over the weekend. I will be buying it for sure at 35% off. Good deal.

"I believe you mean Sound Forge works out to $194, not $104."

Yeah... that's what I figured... but when I put Soundforge into the cart and went to cash out it said 194.00 and then an additional keycode promotion complete with a keycode (that came out or no where) and the final price in red showed up as 104.00

I should note that I didn't carry through with the purchase but I have no idea where the keycode promotion came from because I never entered a keycode. The promotional keycode just pops in there: 64184-9999

i'm really interested in cinescrore but the darn program won't work for me. spits out an error message every time I hit "generate music". :(

Okay... I figured this out (having yet another stupid day) The 104.00 in red is not a final price but how much you're saving... DOH!

Be sure that you have both Cinescore 1.0 and Cinescore Plug-in 1.0 installed. The former is a stand-alone, the latter a plugin.

Does anyone know if the 35% is off upgrades too?

Yes, the offer applies to upgrades as well.

SF9 is definitely worthwhile. Best version since 6 imo.

I got some loops for $12.95 pkg. Pretty good.

The "keycode promotion" memo you saw refers to the 35% discount.

Every promotion that Sony does has a "keycode" assigned to it so that if you don't happen to use the link they provided or it doesn't work for some reason, you can just type in the keycode for that promotion to get the discount. If you use their link (and it works), the exact same keycode is filled in automatically.

Just purchased and installed Cinescore, payed 83.00 with shipping...saved over 40.00...also grabbed a additional theme pak for my cinescore as well, basically got Cinescore and the additional theme pak for a total of $147.00, saved over 70 Bucks on the package ....

Grazie wrote on 3/3/2009, 7:08 PM
HF? You should definitely NOT be getting an error. Cinescore is very flexible and a great tool for on the fly bits of music you need to fill and underline other visuals. It really DOES work. If you don't get anywhere, got directly to SONY. I want you to try this s/w and experience just how versatile it can be. Using a little bit of creativity you can layer and emphasise/promote a theme and feeling.

Happy . . . go to SONY and ask . .

I messaged sony yesterday. I know this would be really useful for some stuff I do (short film music, slide shows, child anims/shorts) but it's infuriating me!!!
DrLumen wrote on 3/3/2009, 7:53 PM
No problems with Cinescore here. It is very flexible and useful.

I picked up some more loop packages for Acid. 35% off is a pretty good deal.

OT: I would think Sony would add names like Cinescore to their spelling dictionary so it doesn't show as misspelled. <shrugs>

Cinescore has been 100% OK for me over a couple of years.
bStro wrote on 3/3/2009, 8:42 PM
Huh? What Sony software has a spelling dictionary?

If you mean on this forum, that's your web browser marking it as misspelled, not Sony's forum software. Websites have no control over what your browser considers misspelled.

If you are using a non-Englih OS, try this :
Error Recovery

That solves the problem for me.
