Subject:Unusual, Annoying MIDI Crash (Acid 7a)

Hey guys, first post here but ive been following the forums for a few weeks. I recently bought ACID Pro 7 (about a week ago) and have undergone some serious problems with it.
I only bought it because I was promised that using my AP6 files in AP7 would cause NO problems. Well for the first few dyas everything ran completly fine, and i love AP7. So i installed the update patch, evetying fine again.
Thne yesterday, hald of my files stopped working. The MIDI wont play back in any of my files, and when i do get the occasioanly bit of MIDI playback its out of time and usually not even the instrument it should be. This is a major problem as half of my instruments are usually VST.
Any help? Known bugs? Thankyou.

Adam

What audio and MIDI hardware are you using?

Are you using Mapper, Wave Clasic , or ASIO drivers?

What is your audio buffer/sample frame size setting?

Please add your system specs to your user profile.

Thanks
Peter

Hey man, thanks for replying. Ive added the system specs i know, im not really very computer savvy.

Im not using an MIDI hardware, except for an old keyboard im using to trigger the sounds, but that is input only.

Audio hardware? Im using an EMU0404 internal soundcard. Connected to that is a Behringer MX2642A mixing desk which i basically use as an external soundcard. Into this mixing desk i plug in my monitors (KRK RP5s) and microphones, the desk then sends the signal of the mics through to the EMU04040, and from the EMU back to the desk and through the monitors. I NEVER had any problems working like this with AP6.

Im using ASIO drivers, as far as im aware, the ones that came with the EMU card.

I afraid i dont know what a audiobuffer/saple frame size setting is.

Also, instead of making an extra topic.

Its hit and miss whether my files actually load up. Im getting a LOT of Sony AP7 is not responding messages. At first i though it could be my computer but ive run several software programs, my drivers are all up to date, other programs have optimised my PC and stuff so everything should be running msoothly. Ive also done an antivirus scan and found no infections or warnings or anything. Its realy starting to annoy me, i had NO problems with AP6.
