Subject:Acid 7.0a crash
Posted by: Erik-Nygaard

I tried using the support system to report this error, but it would not recognize my user name/email/password.

RMB on the word 'Out' on the left side of the meter of a loop causes an exception error. Hitting OK causes a crash to desktop.

Edit: Noticed that this can be provoked by clicking other places in loop as well. This on a MacPro Intel running Win XP Home SP3.

RMB on the word 'Out' on the left side of the meter of a loop causes an exception error. Hitting OK causes a crash to desktop.

I am not clear on what you are clicking on. (RMB == Right Mouse Button?)

Where are you clicking? The more specific the better.

Thanks
Peter

Not to nitpick here but... Why are you running winxp on a Mac anyways? And not to steer people away from Sony Acid but, why not use Logic since you have a Mac?

Lord knows if i had a Mac i would definitely be using Logic over Acid any day!

Right Mouse Button on the word 'Over' left of the meter.
But I can get it to crash by right-clicking a few other places in the vicinity as well.

I'm running both Leopard and WinXP on the MacPro.
Gives me the best of both worlds.
I have invested far too much money and time to learn my Win-only software to switch to Mac. Sonar, Acid, Vegas, Sound Forge, DVD-Architect, Gigastudio etc.
My wife uses the Mac partition exclusively so we're both happy with the arrangement :-).

Forgive me, but I still do not know where you are clicking.

Tell me where you are clicking.

The time line? the time line Track header? The mix console?

Peter
