Acid Pro 7 freezing when rendering (XP Pro) -ACID Product Family

Subject:Acid Pro 7 freezing when rendering (XP Pro) Posted by: electric brother Date:2/13/2009 12:39:47 PM helo, I wrote a postabout problems with my rendering in Acid. I thought it was caused by SP3 of Win Xp Pro. tried to unistall SP3. same thing in SP2. reinstalled Win Xp Pro completely. now I am in SP2. when I started instaling software I use I was checking rendering in acid after each program installed. everything worked fine. until I downloaded and installed the m-audio latest driver for my O2 and Triggerfinger (it;s the same driver). after installingit, I went to options, MIDI in Acid and checked the boxes for the 2 controllers. everything froze right there. I restarted the machine and tried to render something in Acid. same freezing problem. I uninstalled the driver from M-Audio. you can still use both of them but they appear as USB Midi controller and not with their original names. so you have to remember which is (1) and which is (2) or whatever you have. I got so much help from forums that I had to write this post for anyone in trouble. hope it helps.
