Had to do an uninstall and reinstall (didn't fix the main problem by the way, SF still doesn't see VST plugs that were saved in projects), and now instead of the track window and the plug-in chainer being side by side, they are stacked. I've gone through the manual, and tried several things, but I can't get the original look back. Anyone know how to do that? Thanks!

With View menu kill off the windows you don't want.

Grab the little 'handle' bar top left of each remaining window (or tab) and drag it to where you want, and resize it to what you want.

Unfortunately SF does save different Layouts as does Vegas, but remembers the last used one.

Thanksa for the reply Geoff, I'll give it a go. I have edited my original post in this thread, the previously saved projects can't find the VST's, not the DX's as I erroneously stated. Thanks again! Milt.
