hi everyone. can anybody tell me if it is possible to record a song from a cd (lets say hotel california from the eagles) but removing the drum section from said recording so i can add my drums to the song? thank you |

You could find a MIDI file and mute the drums in that.... geoff |

In the case of Hotel California you could buy the dvd audio version and use the separated outs on your sound system/ or blu ray player. This usually only works if you're looking for the lead vocal track... and even then it depends on how they mixed it down. (example- Every Breath U Take - The Police.. the center channel is Sting and the snare drum - Ugh!) Still there are some dvd audio discs that have drums in the front l/r channels and none in the rear channels. Good luck |
